Activities | SPORTS
Rock Lodge offers numerous choices for physical activity. Besides swimming in our refreshing spring-fed lake, you can enjoy a game of tennis or volleyball. To relax your muscles after your choice of sport, you can visit our hot tub and sauna.
Tennis is king at Rock Lodge where players of all abilities compete on either the clay upper court or the all-weather surface on the lower level. There are plenty of club racquets to use if you're a first-timer or forgot to pack your own. The Club Tennis Tournament, held every September, is in a two team format. The losing team traditionally makes breakfast the following weekend for the winning squad. However, everybody gets to eat!
ALL WEATHER COURT
The club's all-weather volleyball court is also used for basketball, skateboarding or any other athletic pursuits that the surface will allow. The club occasionally participates in home and away volley ball matches with other nudist clubs in the Garden State.
Rock Lodge introduces this exciting new game this season. It is a tennis variant played on a badminton court with a lowered net, using wooden paddles and a perforated plastic ball. This fast-growing sport is becoming a fair weather favorite at resorts worldwide.
Hikers can enjoy exploring the marked trails on Rock Lodge Club's 145 wooded acres or continue on to the Highlands Trail which is just a step out the gate.
At the end of the season (weather permitting), we have a free Fall Foliage Hike guided by one of our experienced members.
